January:
last year definitely started out with a bang. we rung in the new year in NC at my aunts, going to a cat show and eating colorful popcorn. i was still working at the range and i got a new babysitting gig. i also started some graphic design classes at suffolk. we ALSO got a lot of snow.
February:
now now,meow meow was born! that great cat blog that you all love. i spent another lovely valentines day with ant. i knitted him a garlic bulb. this year was cool because i got back into knitting. i also re-created fort vegas, a tent ant and i made before we were dating. i also ended up quitting my babysitting job and started working for kristas step dad at noto industrial.
March:
the best thing about my new job was taking pictures of krista's cute cats. that was my favorite part. i was starting to really enjoy my photoshop class. one project we had to create 5 or more of one person in a room. we also went to another pet expo. ant and i decided this was going to be the year of the pet expos. i also turned 24.
April:
april was a fun month. we spent easter at an awesome brunch. krista and i made home made cat treats that we were enjoyed by our cats and my dogs. ant and i found an awesome place at this park (its blocked off now) and kyle came home.
May:
we went to chicago!! my friend britt lives there and ant and i went and visited her. it was an awesome trip. we experienced some amazing vegan food. on our way home we got stuck in the airport due to our plane getting canceled. it sucked at the time, but we got free vouchers and we knew that we were going to be able to go to universal and disney. we slept on cots at the airport. we also went to another pet expo. sam also turned 22 and had a cowboys and indians themed birthday party. i also quit my job because it just wasn't for me. i just continued pet-sitting and started baby-sitting daniel, a little boy who was adopted from russia. i was instantly in love.
June:
i started my new awesome summer job as a pool attendant at the knolls in stony brook. easiest job ever. i swam every day, read and got super tan AND made good money. my pet-sitting service also was crazy busy. i pet sat almost every day. ant and i found some super awesome hiking spots and celebrated our 3 yr anniversary. we also decided we were going to go to the beach a WHOLE lot that summer. we also did our last C.L.I.P. shop. (a couple of friends and i started couponing and buying groceries for families in need at my moms school)
July:
july consisted of lots of relaxation, swimming and the beach. mom went away so we threw a super mario brothers themed party. this month also started my new but old obsession with the o.c. anthony and i started watching the series and i became obsessed all over again.
August:
remember tamagotchis? i brought mine back to life this month. it only stayed alive for a week or so. i wanted to get into badminton. we had one fun night of bean bag toss around the house. hurricane irene hit and i got my first tattoo! ant got his second harry potter one. a dream of mine also happened this month. i got my awesome job as working for stephanie massey photography.
September:
we made some cute produce pals this month and cooked and baked some awesome dishes. i got obsessed with pinterest and was still obsessing over the o.c.
October:
this was my favorite month of the whole year. every weekend i had something fun planned. we went apple/pumpkin picking. went to the city to the butterfly exhibit and shopped in soho. WE WENT TO FL TO UNIVERSAL AND DISNEY. we also had and attended awesome halloween parties.
November:
that brings us to this month. it's been a great holiday season. i worked like crazy at work and then had 2 weeks off. anthony turned 23 and graduated from college. i threw him a surprise birthday party and instead of birthday hats we wore yamaclauses. amy and i made them. (the idea was from the oc for the celebration of chrismukkah) i knitted ornaments, little hats and a mandrake for ant's xmas gift. i got to see a lot of family. we had a great christmas. my family got me the canon t2i which i cannot wait to post photos from that camera. ant got me salsa dancing lessons, a script from the o.c. and an owl kite. we are going to fly kites in 2012. it's hard to re-cap everything that has happened this year but what makes this year so awesome for me are the memories and experiences that were created. i wouldn't trade them for anything. i'm ready and excited for 2012. i can only hope it will be as awesome as 2011.
